Are you new to the construction industry or do you have years of experience? Do you have a specific trade or are you a general operative? If you work on a construction site, holding a CSCS card means that you have proof that you have the necessary skills and knowledge to do your job.

    3.How do I get my card?

 
By first completing a Health and safety Test, we will book the test for you, please fill out this form to book your health and safety Test.

• We will then issue you will your Health and Safety Revision Pack.

•  You will then attend a ½ Day Revision Day ( Training day)

•  And be notified of your up coming test date.

Test Day

On your Health and Safety test day you will undergo:

a) An one hour  Pre-Test refresher

b) Your CSCS forms will then be completed prior to your Test you will require 2 passport size photographs

c) TEST

CSCS Card:

•  On successfully passing the test your application will be processed.  The card card will be returned to Building Enterprise within 14 days.  Once your card has arrived you will be notified and required to collect.

 
    4.Does CSCS apply across the UK?

Yes although it’s called CSR (Construction Skills Register) in Northern Ireland.

    5.Who administers the CSCS scheme?

    6.Who checks that people hold relevant cards?

The main contractor or site manager and in some cases the client.
